Expecting parents are all about gender neutral nurseries this year. Whether you’re trying to steer away from the traditional pink and blue palette, or just wanting to opt for a more modern look, we have compiled some of our favourite looks as well as some handy styling tips for you here...
- A touch of texture
Instead of opting for colours in your baby room (which can be obviously gender heavy), think more about the different textures you can incorporate. Try adding elements of soft texture with rugs, cushions and throws. We love this look from @everyday.muse featuring our Silk Pillow Slip in Blush:
- Gorgeous in grey & soothing neutrals
Grey doesn’t have to be boring or sterile! We love the way Eleesha from @the.quinn.girls does her tonal styling with earthy hues and tonal greys (featuring our Silk Pillow Case in Grey Sprinkles)
- Decals
Decals are a fun and easy way to decorate your nursery walls - they are super easy to put up and even easier to remove with reusable adhesive that won’t leave any horrible mess or residue! If you get sick of the design or just want a change, no problem! Just remove the old and replace with a new, fresh design - genius! Our favourite decals are by Ginger Monkey as seen below!

- Choose different colours
Just because you’re steering away from the typical pink and blue doesn’t mean you have to ditch colour altogether. Some trendy alternatives include soft greens, yellows or multi colours. Have a look at these looks we love below...

- Gender Neutral Themes
Themes are a cute way to liven up any room (they don’t have to be as obvious as you may think) and are a great way to help you stay on track with your styling. Our favourite gender neutral themes are:
- Safari / Animals
- Adventure / exploration
- Starry Nights
